The hardest part of taking a working dog into public is rarely the person who challenges you — it is the well-meaning stranger who crouches down to say hello. A "Please Don't Pet Me" patch stops that approach at a distance, and paired with "Service Dog In Training" it explains why in the same glance: this dog is learning a job, and an interruption costs real progress.

This combo pack contains those two patches — the two our customers request most — in one order. Each measures 1.5 by 4 inches with a Velcro back, sized for the pre-sewn Velcro inserts on our Montana Supply Company harness, and either can be sewn onto any fabric instead. Because they mount with Velcro you can run both at once, or swap between them as your dog progresses and the situation changes. Nothing here is a legal credential: the ADA requires no marking on a service dog at all. These simply do the communicating for you.

You will receive our two MOST POPULAR patches in the combo pack. The Service Dog In Training Patch as well as the Please Don't Pet Me Patch were the most requested by our customers. These patches measure 1.5"x 4" with a velcro back. Feel free to use them as you wish but they are fully compatible with our Montana Supply Co Harness available here and has pre-sewn velcro inserts.

These are our two most requested patches by our customers, so we though, why not offer them in a combo pack? We suggest combining them with our Montana Supply Company Service Dog Harness, but they can be used with any article that has Velcro attachments.

All orders are shipped USPS First Class Mail within the United States and Puerto Rico. International shipping is not available.

Standard shipping is free. Overnight and priority mail shipping are not offered at this time. Once an order is marked shipped please allow 2-3 days for a post office scan.

Do "Please Don't Pet Me" patches actually stop people approaching?

They cut it down a great deal. Most people who approach a working dog are friendly rather than confrontational, and a clear request they can read from a few feet away resolves it without you having to say anything or explain your circumstances to a stranger.

Can I run both patches at the same time?

Yes, and many handlers do — one on each flank, so the dog reads the same from either side. Both are 1.5 by 4 inches on Velcro, so they occupy the standard mounting panels, and either can be lifted off on its own when the dog is off duty.
